Everything That Happens, Will Happen Today (2025)

The collaboration between Berserk Art Agency and Secondroom (Antwerp, BE) arises from a shared ambition to provide space for emerging and mid-career artists. While earlier editions offered a platform for completed works, the focus now shifts toward revealing the processes of creation, reflection, and experimentation at the heart of artistic practice. These showcases place emphasis not on finished outcomes, but on the pathways that lead to them—foregrounding research, trial (and error), and discovery while lifting the pressure to deliver definitive results.

For this third edition, Berserk Art Agency has selected two practices that each explore the intersections of art, materiality, and technology from distinct perspectives. Daems Van Remoortere develop kinetic and interactive installations that probe the relationship between human existence and the universe, while Gijs Coenen examines the cultural role and societal value of play as a practice.
